How to Attract Good Business Karma
This may seem a little woo-woo you to, but I’m a firm believer in the holistic mindset. By this, I mean that you - and your business by extension - is more than just the mental and physical aspects that it consists of. You and your business are also the compilation of your intentions that you put out into the world, the way in which you show up for other people, and the belief that you have in your products/services and the community it serves.
Because Organic Copy and Content is passionate about working with unique businesses and organizations that want to make the world a better place, it seems only fitting that I would provide content on some good business karma tips.
Has someone ever helped you along the way to success or the opening of your business/organization? I am betting that they have. Everyone has to start somewhere and experience isn’t born from nothing. Think back to those times when someone went out of their way to offer their time, wisdom, or expertise to you so that you could succeed at your goal. Now think of how you might be able to put that back into the universe.
Is there a person wanting to work for your company that isn’t quite qualified yet but has all the pre-requisite skills or talents to be able to accomplish the job? - Take a chance on them! Is there a way that your business can give back to your local community? - Start a fundraiser! I’m a firm believer that by doing these things you are really depositing long-term investments into your own business’ success. After all, people like to work with good people (and businesses). And it often is the one thing that can set you apart from others and convince a customer to support your business over a competing brand.
Be your business’ biggest fan. Believe in it with your whole being. When sneaky imposter syndrome starts to rear its ugly head, acknowledge it and then tell it that you’re not going to let Debbie Downer run the show. Take time for self care. Remember that you can’t pour from an empty cup and that sometimes the best thing you can do for your business is to take a step back. Be a lifelong learner in the field you work in and with the things you are passionate about. Outsource business needs so that you don’t burn out.
By constantly striving to improve yourself and your business, remaining humble, and learning to adapt to changing markets and consumer trends, you will be able to build a flourishing and sustainable company. There is power in a positive mindset and truth to the law of attraction. Once you know what you want, rest assured that you are more than capable of getting it. As the old saying goes: ask, and you shall receive.
Always Improve Your Products/Services
When you provide honest products and services, it won’t be long until consumers take notice. Unfortunately, we live in a world where too many businesses only care about their bottom lines. While it might seem tempting to do what is easier or most profitable for your business, it is wise to look at the bigger picture. As the world is always changing, so, too, are people and their needs. Your products and services should continue to adapt to meet consumer needs and the trends of modern living.
More people are waking up to the power and importance of a company’s bottom line. Make sure that your bottom line is to always provide the best products and services for your customers, for your community, and for the environment. Sure, no one business can ever complete all of these goals perfectly. But you can, however, strive to be better and better year after year, adding deeper benefits to the consumer as resources and time allows you to expand and improve. The point is, don’t stop improving. Don’t ignore customer feedback because your product is still selling.
